Bobby

Bobby. Date of Birth: April 15, 2018 Have you ever looked everywhere for something and then come to find out, it was right in your own backyard the whole time? Well that's kinda my story. Me and my brother, Andy, were living in a yard where our mama had us. It was a rough life wondering when she would come around to feed us. We were too little to find food for ourselves. One day, a lady saw us huddled together and snatched us right up! I was like "whoa lady, what are you doing?" But then she took us inside and gave us delicious foods and snuggled us. She whispered, "you will never be hungry or alone ever again!" Ever since, we have been having a great time playing and napping on soft blankets. Now it's time for us to find our very own forever home together. Come meet me (and Andy!) and check us out. I hear we are quite an adorable pair.

Gracie

Hi I'm Gracie! After I was left by my last family to starve (and I almost did), a neighbor saw me and made sure I made it to the farm. I used to be a house dog so I know how to be good in a house although I may need some help remembering as I've gotten used to being in a kennel. I really love cuddling and I want to be the center of the universe, so I need to be the only dog in my family. If you are interested in adopting me, please fill out an application at http://fs22.formsite.com/pbroklahoma/form1/index.html and one of our rescue volunteers will get back with you! Thank you for looking at me!

Nicolette

Nicolette is an adorable, petite, brown tabby girl. She is quiet and shy and mostly just keeps to herself. Nicolette was born outside where she lived until she came to ASL in March 2018. Her estimated date of birth is 7/13/17. She does well with other cats and seems to really enjoy being with other cats. She will take an experienced cat owner who is willing to give her a lot of time and patience to help her settle in. Nicolette does have a "tipped" ear, as the original plan was to spay/neuter her litter and return them to their caregiver. While letting them recover from surgery, we realized that Nicolette and her friends were way too friendly to put back outside. Nicolette was friendly and affectionate with us for quite awhile, but then seemed to regress. In the right environment, in a smaller space, we believe she can get back to the girl we saw and know is in her! **PLEASE READ CAREFULLY** If you are interested in applying for the potential adoption of this pet, and to expedite the process, please read about our adoption and shelter visitation policy on our website at www.animalserviceleagueny.org. You will also find our fillable adoption application there, which is required for all potential adoptions prior to shelter visits. Marcus

Approx DOB: June 2017 Marcus (ID#20026) came to Furry Friends Network as a stray. It was a really good thing he was found too, as it was discovered shortly after taking him in, that Marcus is deaf. While this does make him a bit unusual, it does not slow him down in the least! Marcus is extremely playful and even wears his foster mom out. He loves chasing wands, any kind will do! When he’s had his fill of playtime, Marcus will grab a bite to eat and then settle down in a cat bed in the sun for a good long nap. He especially enjoys a comfy blanket in the bed with him. Recently Marcus has begun to voice his opinion a bit. When he first came to his foster home, he would open his mouth but no sound would come out. After years of trying, he has finally accomplished a meow that he can be proud of! Due to Marcus’s condition, he would do best in a home with a seasoned cat lover and where there are no small children. Marcus enjoys being with other cats and would do well with a younger kitty whom he could play with. All cats are vaccinated, dewormed, treated with flea preventative, tested negative for FeLV/FIV, microchipped, and spayed/neutered prior to adoption. Adoption application, phone interview, home visit, and adoption fee required (+ PA Sales tax). Adoption fees are: Baby (Kittens up to 1 year) = $125 Young & Adult (1-7 years) = $100 Seniors (8+ years) = $80 Please also read our Core Values prior to applying, www.furryfriendsnetwork.com/adopt/our-expectations. If you are interested in adopting a kitty(s), we ask that you complete an on-line adoption application to get the process started. To apply, simply go to www.furryfriendsnetwork.com / Adopt a Furry Friend / Adoption Application. You will receive a welcome email once your application has been assigned to a volunteer processor (this should be within 72 hours of submitting an application). If you do not receive such an email, contact catapplication@furryfriendsnetwork.com. Once your application has been processed (this can take approx. 10-14 days), we will arrange contact with the foster to schedule a time to meet kitties you might be interested in. We are an all-volunteer organization and appreciate your patience during this process. Foster Homes are needed in order to help more animals like this one. Please consider opening your heart and home to a homeless animal. Check out our website on how to become a Foster Parent! Visit www.furryfriendsnetwork.com and look under Foster a Furry Friend. Furry Friends Network provides our foster homes with food, litter, crates/carriers as needed and miscellaneous other supplies as well as veterinary care. DARRELL-Special Needs

IMPORTANT: The Nature Network Inc. is a small 501c3 non-profit no-kill organization. Most animals we rescue are abandoned at the pound, who no one wants--seniors and special-needs. 100% of all funds are used for them—extensive veterinary and medical costs, prescription meds, rehab, special foods, supplements, and more. www.thenaturenetwork.petfinder.com Use the “SPONSOR” button found on each of our pet profiles to donate to us at the PETFINDER FOUNDATION. We are deeply grateful for help. To meet us, help us, or if you know people or businesses who would like to, please contact us at: theanimalsleftbehind@socal.rr.com (Also our PayPal Giving email address for donation and sponsorship). Mailing: The Nature Network Inc., 3826 Grand View Blvd., #66790, Los Angeles, CA 90066. We are not like many larger non-profits who use up to 90% of all funds on expensive advertising, enormous salaries, social media, and human expenses. Our veterinary references are available upon request. WE ARE CURRENTLY ACCEPTING SPONSORS INTO OUR SPONSORSHIP/ADOPTION PROGRAM, FOR THE HORSES WE HAVE RESCUED WHICH ARE UNRIDEABLE OR UNADOPTABLE. Please contact us for more details about our sponsorship/adoption program. DARRELL: Little Darrell's owner gave him up because she was moving. Darrell is Special Needs because he has a stiff stifle in his upper hind leg and needs special hand-walking exercise (backwards) every day, to keep him limber. He also needed companions because he had become very lonely. Darrell is not a children's pet as he can sometimes bite/nip for fun if fussed with a lot--and he is not able to be ridden or used for pulling carts. Darrell is nearly 18 and is possibly a full Shetland Pony. Darrell is gelded and has had his shots. Darrell is available to sponsor in the greater Los Angeles area. If you would like to sponsor Darrell, please contact: theanimalsleftbehind@socal.rr.com (also our Paypal address for donations and sponsorship).

Egor

My name is Egor (DOB 2012). Egor is a special boy with special needs. He is looking for a forever person who is highly experienced and willing to train & work with him. Egor had a difficult life before being rescued, we don't know what happened to him, however, he is fearful of people and aggressively protects his space. Egor was at a high kill shelter when FCSR stepped in to save him. He was heartworm positive and has been treated for it. Now, Egor has developed a full cataract in one eye and the other eye is getting cloudy. He will need to be the only dog. Egor has a lot of trust issues with people and must be handled at his own pace. When put in a crate, Egor needs to be left on a leash in order to get him out. If you have experience with Egor's type of behaviors & personality and would like to help him, please complete your application at www.floridacocker.org. For more details, call 813-245-1833 or contact info@floridacocker.org.

Black Merle

Hey FCSR friends, my name is Black Merle, I’m a male cocker spaniel and my DOB is 2012. I am searching for my furever home so let me tell you about myself. I love people but I don’t really like to share my food and toys with other dogs. I also like to be handled carefully and don’t really like to be grabbed. You see, I have been an only dog my whole life and I really like it that way so, I can be spoiled & be the center of your world. I do have calcified ears and have dry eye that require prescription AND over-the-counter eye drops. Could I be the boy you are searching for? Please complete your application at www.floridacocker.org. For more details, call 813-245-1833 or contact info@floridacocker.org.

Precious

Precious was found by a good Samaritan at a Coca-Cola plant in Mississippi. She had recently had puppies but they were no where to be found. He took her home and reached out to the Akita Rescue Society of Florida for help. Precious was transported to Jacksonville where she was spayed and had a preventative gastropexy. She is becoming more social, enjoys human company and is one busy girl. Precious is a kind, gentle soul, about 3 years old. She would do well in an active home.

Gigi

Hi! My name is Gigi! I am a shy but very sweet girl, about 8 years old. I was found under a porch with my brother Tux when we were 6 - 8 weeks old. It would be great if I had a window or enclosed screen porch for bird watching. I would probably be happier with a cat savvy human who would let me be a loner, in a peaceful and calm home. I am very slowly warming up to humans and allowing them to pet me more. I am up to date on vaccines, combo tested negative and I have been spayed. The cost to adopt me is $125.00, and the first step in the adoption process begins with an Adoption Application that can be located and submitted online, on our website www.faithfulfriendsnc.org. Once your completed application has been submitted, it will be reviewed. Processing of applications can take 2 - 3 business days, which includes vet checks. Thank you!

Tux

Hi! My name is Tux! I am a handsome and sweet 8-year old boy, found under a porch with my sister Gigi when we were 6 - 8 weeks old. I get along great with other cats, but a bit shy around humans until I spend some time with them. Hopefully someone will give me a calm home where I am allowed to just be myself. I may not be the instant lap cat of your dreams, but who knows what will happen with time and patience? I am up to date on vaccines, combo tested negative and I have been neutered. The cost to adopt me is $125.00, and the adoption process begins with an Adoption Application. The Adoption Application can be found and submitted online, on our website www.faithfulfriendsnc.org. Once your completed application has been received, it will be reviewed. Processing of applications could take 2 - 3 business days, which will include vet checks. I look forward to finding my forever family soon!

Jethro

Jethro is a very smart boy. He loves to go on walks and explore. He knows many commands and likes to show them off to all of his friends. Jethro would need someone to come multiple times to meet him so he can get a sense of trust with someone new. Jethro would do best as the single pet within the home, and would do best without children in the household.
