Aria

Aria is a spunky, petite, year-old pup who is in need of a loving home. She may be small in stature, but this girl has a larger-than-life personality. Aria is incredibly social and loves to play - she is always up for a game of fetch or an adventurous walk. She'd love a canine sibling who can keep up with her lively spirit and playful demeanor, but her ideal match will need to enjoy the great outdoors just as much as she does. She is versatile and would also do well as the only dog in the home. Aria has a heart of gold and is very social with humans and other animals. Patty

Please say hello to PATTY! PATTY is a 6 month old, female hound mix. She’s just learning about the outside world (grass and smells and all that good stuff) and would love a home to call her very own. Adopt PATTY today! This pet is spayed or neutered in accordance with our strict policy wherein all animals are altered prior to adoption. This pet is de-wormed, current on vaccines, and started on monthly flea/tick preventatives. Animal Alliance's policy is that we will adopt dogs younger than 1 year old to families with children under 9 years old. We do not adopt dogs 1 year or older to families with children under 9 years old due to the unknown history of adult dogs. Prior to submitting an application, please see the Animal Alliance Adoption Process for adoption details. Animal Alliance is not a shelter where all the animals are housed in one location. Animal Alliance is a foster care network and animals are housed in many different locations. If you are interested in adopting a pet, please apply using the online application; applicants who call our phone line will hear a recorded voicemail with this identical message. We adopt many animals each week and meet prospective adopters at various locations so they can meet the animals they are interested in. Little Lady Guerrero

? Meet Little Lady: Your Spunky, Loving Companion! ? Did you know that black dogs are skipped over more than other dogs? Little Lady has multiple strikes against her. She’s black, and she’s a possible pittie mix. This combination is often a death sentence in Texas where they are even euthanizing innocent puppies like Little Lady. So she NEEDS you! Little Lady is currently 50+ lbs and 8 months old. We think she may be a Staffy/Lab mix, but with rescue it’s always a guess. We like to call them a Texas Surprise! Little Lady owes her name to her beautiful mom, Lady, whom she resembles. She is sure to steal your heart with her deep brown eyes and big beautiful smile! Little Lady has a big personality, and an even bigger heart. She loves to play and be silly, but she loves her humans more than anything. She is sweet, cuddly, and affectionate. She's the perfect mix of playful and affectionate, making her an ideal companion for anyone who loves a little fun in their life. This sweetheart is making great progress on her manners. She’s still working on not jumping up on people, but she's crate trained and potty trained, and she knows commands like Sit, Lay Down, Settle, No, Outside, and Night Night. She loves to run around with a squeaky toy, and her favorite treats include apples with peanut butter and sweet potato - the way to her heart is definitely through her stomach! She has spent her whole life in a loving foster home with her mom and siblings, who have given her a great start in learning doggy manners. She also lives with her foster parents, a special needs granddaughter, and another adult who is in a wheelchair. She does great with people of all ages and abilities, as well as other dogs. Little Lady would do best in a home with a yard where she can frolic and play. She is not bad on a leash and doesn’t pull much, with some leash training she could become a total pro. She would be a great dog to take on neighborhood walks, hikes, or to a dog-friendly café. She is sweet to everyone she meets. Car rides aren’t her favorite though, so if roadtrips are one of your favorite things, she would need some patience and training to get her more comfortable. Don't miss out on the chance to make Little Lady a part of your family - she's ready to be your new best friend! Currently fostered in Texas, she is spayed, vaccinated, microchipped, and ready to travel to her forever home in the PNW or NE areas. Bella

Hi, I’m Bella! I am a 6 month old female shih tzu who is looking for my furever family. I do well with kids, cats and dogs. I was trained to use pee pee pads but with some practice, will learn to only potty outside. It will be important to keep up with grooming regularly and brushing in between, to keep my hair from getting tangled. I love to play and am your typical pup. I will be spayed the week May 1st, then will officially be ready for my furever home. If you think that I may be a good match for your family, please reach out to my rescue and fill out an application!

Looking for a new pooch to join your pack? Look no further than Troy! This adult dog is good with other dogs and would love to be your new fur-iend. Troy is a very active dog who loves nothing more than a good run around the park. He's a smart boy, who is always eager to learn new tricks and commands. He's house-trained and knows some basic commands like "sit" and "paw". Based on his age, he's also past the puppy stage - which means he's well past the teething stage and has mastered his daily constitutional. Troy loves to play, but he also knows how to chill out and relax. He enjoys a good snuggle on the couch as much as he loves a good game of fetch. Phoebe

Phoebe came to us as a local owner surrender. Phoebe is a 3 year old female golden retriever mix, she has a skinny/lanky body so we are so curious what she could be mixed with! Phoebe will need a home with other confident dogs as she is unsure about something in life but has already showed us that a little repetitive positive reinforcement reassures her she can accomplish the task! Phoebe is very submissive with other dogs so she would fit right into a pack. She is being fostered with dogs of all sizes, cats and small children. Phoebe will thrive in a home with other dogs and owners who are willing to take the time the first few weeks she adjusts with some repetitive words and phrases to reassure her. Phoebe is house/potty trained, not destructive just likes to lay on the bed all day so she does not need to be crated. She takes treats very softly from your hand. 6822 Cara

ADOPTION REQUIREMENTS FENCED YARD AGE APPRORIATE CANINE COMPANION My name is Cara. I spent one time in dog jail and no one ever came for me so now I am looking for a new family. I am a super shy girl for some reason. Maybe I wasn't out in public much so the big world is scary to me. My background isn't known since I was a stray. Once I am comfortable I am fine though and if you take me places and do things with me that will help alot when it comes to meeting new people and things. My foster mom tells you a bit about me.... This lovely girl is Cara, and someone is going to be extremely lucky to take her home ?! She was picked up by animal control, and since no one claimed her she gets to bring joy to a new family. She is around 3 years old, weighs in at a trim 45lbs, house-trained, and appears to be some sort of Aussiedoodle mix. She is timid meeting new people and dogs, but she’s doing great in a home with other dogs, and is working on learning a crate isn’t such a bad place (but coming directly from confinement in animal control, can’t blame her!). With the mystery of her breed mix, a blue merle coat with a little tan on her legs, and a streak of blue in one eye, she is beautifully unique. She also has some of the cutest mannerisms, so her foster mom has already given her the nickname ‘Quirky Girl’. If you would like to meet Cara, please fill out the application below (copy and paste to your browser) and we will get back with you as soon as we can. https://form.jotform.com/211044942326146 Adoption fee pays for vetting.....spay surgery (scheduled but not completed at the time of this listing) a heart worm test, all vaccinations, deworming, flea prevention, a microchip and a wellness exam.
