All of our adoptable rescues have a clean bill of health (unless otherwise stated), are spayed/neutered, vaccinated (age-appropriately), tested (FeLV/FIV for cats, HW for dogs over 6 months of age), current on flea and heartworm prevention and microchipped. This is all included in their adoption fee that goes in as a donation to help us cover their medical costs and continue to help other animals in need. Slugger
Adorable puppy Slugger is one of Mama Ruth’s 8 cutie pies. Shortly after being born outside to their stray mama in 30 degree temps, we were contacted to take them into rescue. It was April 6th and they were less than a day old.
Soon Mama and pups will be going to our vet for thorough wellness exams, first puppy vaccines, parasite screenings and microchips. Mama will of course receive all that and also heartworm testing and screened for tick borne diseases like Lyme as well.
We do NOT know who the daddy is. Momma is about 45lbs and looks like an Australian Shepherd mix. (Her pic is shown here too). We also have a lot of pictures and video on our Facebook page.
The pups will be ready to go home around June 8th. Their $300 adoption fee includes the remainder of their puppy vaccine boosters and their spay/neuter when age appropriate.

Righty
Meet Righty, a truly sweet and smart kitten with a heart of gold. He looks almost identical to his brother, Lefty - the only difference between them is a faint cluster of black hairs near his right (vs. Lefty's left) ear! This curious little feline is super friendly and would make a perfect companion for anyone seeking a loyal friend. He will chirp when you come into the room to get your attention and will start to purr when pet! His gentleness is a testament to his mellow nature. Righty's cuddly nature is irresistible. As with most kittens, he would do best with another kitten buddy. His siblings are Lefty, Buffy, and Yoda.

Meet Mac, a laid-back guy who enjoys curling up for a nap on his foster mom's bed, especially when he can snuggle into his beloved burrito blanket. When he's not catching up on his beauty sleep, you'll find Mac lounging in the cat tree, gazing out the window.
Mac has an independent streak and likes to do his own thing, but he also enjoys a good play session with his brother from time to time. He's a snuggly boy who loves giving kisses and showing affection to his humans. Although he's a bit wary of the TV (all those people can be a bit much for him), he makes up for it with his sweet, loving nature.
If you're looking for a cuddly, but also independent companion with a lot of love to give, Mac might just be the perfect fit!

Did you know black kitties are a symbol of good luck, compassion, growth, and protection? Meet Ebony! An 8 month old beautiful female black short hair. Ebony has been an amazing mother to her 2 babies but she is done with mother hood and looking for her forever family. She has really come out of her shell since arriving at her foster home. She just wants to be loved and cuddled. She has a very calm personality and is not a huge play baby. She would rather lay with you and follow you around throughout the day. Ebony is good around other cats and dogs and is currently in a home with young children whom she does very well with. Please consider adopting sweet Ebony!
