He’s good on leash, friendly toward everyone and is crate trained. Good with dogs. Even though hes now tri-pod - you would never know that hes missing his leg.

It took me less than 24 hours to realize the people at Sheltering Hands are wonderful. Once I knew that my true personality came out and I was begging for attention and love. He is a 8yr, 9lb, chihuahua mix with the cutest little bobtail you have ever seen! Rocky is super sweet, gentle, and laid back. All he wants to do is cuddle with you on the couch and be your best bud. He does great in a kennel and is potty trained. Rocky is great with other dogs but he would be totally cool with being the only guy in the house. Brody fka Sosa
Brody sadly was living in a car until a Good Samaritan took him in. He was living with 2 other dogs and got the necessary vetting needed. His teeth have needed some work due to malnutrition so he is currently receiving treatment for that, but is otherwise healthy, up to date on vaccines, and neutered.
Brody is an active pup who is around 2 years old. He is still learning his manners and learning the ropes so we feel he would benefit from an active family who can continue training. Brody is an amazing dog and will make a wonderful companion. Sky is the limit with this baby!

Acadia
No need to go all the way to Maine to see Acadia. We have our very own crown jewel waiting for adventures right here in the shelter. Acadia has peekaboo brindle and the most beautiful eyes. She is young with manners already instilled. She will sit for treats or chase some tennis balls. Acadia, like almost all young dogs, can get excited and jumpy, but she can also be respectful of our space. She is a really wonderful girl.

Lonny is an AWESOME 3yr old pup that was rescued from an overcrowded shelter. We assume he is some kind of Hound/Pittie type mix, but he’s a perfect medium size. He is the sweetest dog, fully housebroken, very gentle and laid back, just an all-around good boy. He would be perfect for a family looking for a chill companion. He has gotten along with other dogs and can be cat tested.
